Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between JB Trent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ethan dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as ethan dixon enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
dixon fails in his attempt to clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Trent.

Trent feints and as dixon raises his hands in defense, Trent changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
dixon keeping moving, preventing Trent from controlling successfully.

dixon pushes Trent off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Trent tries to keep at a distance but dixon has taken the fight into the clinch.

Trent avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
dixon is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Trent is controlling him.

dixon is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Trent is looking to get back to full guard here but dixon has managed to pass to side control instead.

dixon is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Trent has managed to escape the submission attempt.
dixon throws some wild stikes that Trent manages to avoid easily.

dixon is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Trent has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Trent!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

and Trent counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for dixon!

dixon has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Trent is working away from the top position though.

Trent looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
dixon is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Trent is pressing down on dixon's thigh, looking to free his foot. dixon is holding on for now.
dixon is looking to control Trent's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can dixon avoid being mounted?

dixon is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! dixon extends the arm and Trent is forced to tap!
