With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Frank Robertson!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Amber changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Robertson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Amber tries to move into full mount but can't pass Robertson's legs.
Robertson is trying to work for a sweep but Amber has mounted him!
Robertson is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Amber avoids the attempt from Robertson to control.
Robertson is squirming around, avoiding Amber's attempts to control the action.
Amber prevents Robertson from getting the reversal.

Amber perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Amber is looking to advance position but Robertson won't allow it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Amber gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

Amber has taken the fight to the clinch.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Amber closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Amber has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Robertson works to full guard.

Robertson kicks Amber off and gets to his feet.
Amber dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Robertson. That did some damage!

Amber lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Robertson circles away quickly and effectively.
Amber throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Robertson's waist but Robertson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Amber off to one side.
Amber scores with a jab. Robertson acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Amber is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

It looks like Frank Robertson has been cut.

Amber is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Robertson's half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Robertson is looking to escape.
Amber is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Robertson manages to get to full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Robertson shoots for a takedown but Amber saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Amber misses with a wild combination.
Amber throws a right and a left that Robertson avoids nicely.

and Amber counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Amber seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Robertson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Amber tries to stand and escape but Robertson is controlling the position.
Robertson is trying to stand up here but Amber is controlling him well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Dave Amber just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Amber feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
