Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Laiska Leppone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gudleifur Bjarnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leppone comes into the arena with Still Häslin blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leppone throws a right and a left that Bjarnson avoids nicely.
Leppone is looking to score with low kicks.
Good leg kick by Leppone there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Leppone lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bjarnson 's sensitive parts.
Bjarnson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bjarnson looks gassed!
Leppone throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Leppone tried to score with a low kick but Bjarnson checks it.
Some bone on bone action there as Bjarnson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

and Bjarnson counters with a series of strikes. Leppone will be more careful next time no doubt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bjarnson scores with a one two! Leppone had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Laiska Leppone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Bjarnson counters with a nice body shot.
Bjarnson lands a head kick. Leppone smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Bjarnson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

and Bjarnson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Jeez, Laiska Leppone's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

and Bjarnson counters with a lovely shot to the body.

and Bjarnson counters with a good low kick that Leppone was not able to check.

and Bjarnson counters with a head kick.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Laiska Leppone's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
