Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jermaine Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes to the cage accompanied by Teaching You. The crowd seem to be enjoying Brown's choice of entrance music: Necro- I need drugs. Jermaine Brown told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown looks for a takedown but Lee sprawls well.
Brown digs a good hook to Lee's body.
A slapping leg kick lands for Lee.
Lee swings for the body but Brown moves out of range.
Brown fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lee looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Brown takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Lee lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Brown's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Brown is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Lee rather than just go for the knockout.
Good leg kick by Lee there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Lee is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Brown can do to turn this around?
Lee goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Lee fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Brown on the side of the head.
Brown drops his hands momentarily and Lee takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Brown shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lee sprawls well. Lee wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Brown gets slowly back to his feet.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

Lee will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Brown throwing strikes but Lee manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Lee is looking to take a break and control but Brown is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Lee decides to stand back up.
Brown will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Lee tries a low kick but Brown avoids it.
Lee throws a half hearted mid kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lee lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Brown has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Brown and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Brown feints and as Lee raises his hands in defense, Brown changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Lee seems keen to control Brown's posture.
Brown thows a big elbow that misses.

Brown got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lee has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Brown has managed to get both his arms back between Lee's legs - danger averted.

Brown has gone for a leg lock! Lee slips out almost immediately though and dives into Brown's guard.
Lee will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Lee wants to pass the guard but Brown is keeping the position.

Lee won't allow Brown to sweep him here.
Lee pushes down on Brown's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Brown is trying to maintain the position but Lee is very close to passing his half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Lee controlling the pace.
Lee tries to pass the half guard into mount. Brown knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Brown tries to roll over but Lee keeps him under control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A right-left combo lands from Lee.
Brown shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lee pinned against the cage. Lee gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Brown fails to land the takedown.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Brandon Lee.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lee, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
