Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dan Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and luis inacio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). luis inacio is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dan Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, luis inacio!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Mauricio Rocha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva takes a swing at inacio's ribcage but misses.
Silva swinging wildly here.
Silva throws a nice looking combination but inacio bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Silva drops inacio with a right and a left! Silva comes rushing in but inacio regains his composure and manages to keep Silva in guard.
inacio is rocked!
It looks like luis inacio has been cut.
Silva thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
inacio is still in real trouble! Can Silva finish him?
inacio will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

inacio seems to have recovered his senses.
Silva postures up.
inacio uses the cage to get back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
inacio shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than inacio was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
inacio is landing with some decent strikes but Silva is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Silva is in all sorts of trouble here.

Silva holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as inacio tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
inacio is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Silva is surviving well by controlling inacio's body position as best he can.
Silva suckers inacio into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Silva is now in inacio's guard!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
inacio is trying to keep Silva in close.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Silva trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now inacio is on top in guard.
Silva preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Silva wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and inacio manages to pass to side control.
inacio thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Silva's head.

inacio tries to pass the half guard into mount. Silva knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
inacio thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
inacio wants to take a breather but Silva is having none of it.
Silva looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Silva throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Silva looks to throw the jab but inacio is out of range.
inacio closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Silva wants to control but inacio postures up.
inacio in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
inacio goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Silva rolls with the submission and now he's on top in inacio's guard! Nice work there by Silva!

The cut man is working on luis inacio's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Silva digs a good hook to inacio's body.
Silva lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Silva throws a right and a left that both miss.
Silva stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Silva wants it to stay on the feet.
Silva avoids the head kick by inacio.
Silva connects with a nice cross there... inacio is looking wobbly and Silva recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send inacio to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Silva jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
