The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powel looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Silva is fending him off so far but Powel persists. Nope, Silva circles away and we're back to standing.
Powel shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Silva pinned against the cage. Silva gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Powel shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Silva defends it nicely.

Silva looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Powel looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Powel closes this distance looking for a takedown but Silva circles away.

Silva throws a nice looking combination but Powel bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Silva lands with a right that hurts Powel. Powel looks to clinch but Silva throws a short knee that drops Powel. This one is all over!
