Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gabbie Jay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sly Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jay kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Why Can't We Be Friends. Stone is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Rambo. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jay connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Stone misses with a double jab.
Stone throws a nice looking combination but Jay bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jay sizes up Stone with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

It looks like Sly Stone has been cut.
Stone keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Stone looks to land a left hand but Jay moved out of range nicely.
Stone throws out a powerful jab.
Jay scores with a body shot.
Jay throws a hook to the side of Stone's head but Stone sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Jay misses with a hook. Stone ducked under it nicely.
Jay tests Stone's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Stone will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Stone on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stone takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Stone avoids the body shot from Jay.
Jay cracks Stone with a good jab.
Jay lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Jay comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Stone looks gassed!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jay ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Jay fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Jay drops Stone with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Stone looks back up at him and smiles so Jay waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Stone is rocked!

That has opened up Sly Stone's cut even more.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Jay knocks Stone out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
