Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Paul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and recom uy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). uy has chosen bleed it out by linkin park as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as recom uy enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
uy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Paul was well out of range. Poor timing from uy.
Paul leaves uy with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A slow jab from Paul misses its intended target.
Paul throws the left hand but uy avoids the punch easily.
Paul throws a jab but it's blocked by uy.
Paul lands a really nice looking cross but uy seems unphased.
Paul lands a nice looking body shot.
Paul stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Paul wants it to stay on the feet.
uy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Paul throws a lazy right hand but uy sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
uy fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
John Paul has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of recom uy.
uy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Paul sprawls well. Paul wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. uy gets slowly back to his feet.
