Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Darrian Ashoka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Bellec (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bellec is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Kanye West - Amazing. Bruce Bellec will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Eddie Farnsworth and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ashoka checks the leg kick nicely there.
Ashoka fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bellec manages to avoid it.
Ashoka fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Ashoka shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Ashoka unloads with some shots from mount but Bellec bucks and avoids them well.
Ashoka scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Ashoka has hold of Bellec's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bellec manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ashoka goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Bellec turns into him and now he's in Ashoka's guard.

Ashoka has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Ashoka feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ashoka accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
