The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alpha throws a sloppy head kick and Johnson moves out of range easily.
Johnson slips a straight right by Alpha.
Aldo Alpha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Alpha manages to avoid it.

Johnson has taken the fight to the clinch.
A body shot lands from Johnson.
Johnson blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Alpha goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Johnson scores with a hook to the body.
Alpha makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Johnson gets through Alpha's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Alpha tries to land knees in the clinch but Johnson avoids the damage to the body.
Johnson lands a right hand that snaps the head of Alpha backwards.
Johnson throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Alphas head.

Johnson turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Johnson manages to end up in side control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Johnson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Alpha pinned against the cage. Alpha gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Johnson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Alpha sprawls well initially but Johnson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Alpha has hold of Johnson's hands but Johnson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Johnson winds up and cracks Alpha with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Johnson is taking a breather. Alpha says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Johnson is trying to control. Alpha wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Johnson wants to pass the guard but Alpha is defending well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That's time! Johnson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

Johnson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Alpha is looking to chop away at Johnson's legs.

Johnson throws a right hand that Alpha ducks under and follows up with a left that Alpha also avoids with ease.

and Johnson counters with a shoot takedown. Alpha fights it but they end up in guard.
