Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pedrinho Matador (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Euclides Cunhha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Cunhha's choice of entrance music: Raimundus - Eu quero ver o oco. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cunhha changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Matador tries to avoid it but Cunhha manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Matador to the ground. Matador escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Matador looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Cunhha closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Cunhha is looking for a kimura but Matador is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Cunhha to get the leverage.

Matador knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cunhha on the ground.

Cunhha is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Matador sees it coming and defends easily.
Cunhha wants to take a breather but Matador is having none of it.

Cunhha tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cunhha has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Cunhha is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Matador knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Matador is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Cunhha lets go of the hold and Matador can pop his arm back in it's socket.
