Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge Aldave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Vangelis - Alpha. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis tests Aldave's chin there with a solid looking shot.

It looks like Jorge Aldave has been cut.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Aldave.
Aldave tries for a takedown but Davis sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Davis misses with a series of wild punches.
Jab, jab by Davis - just one landing.
Davis with a body punch. A glancing blow.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
No joy there for Davis, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Davis feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Aldave sprawling to the canvas! Aldave rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Davis finish him?!
Davis lands a jab to Aldave's midsection.
Aldave looks gassed!
Davis finds Aldave's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Aldave flops back against the ropes, eyes gazing into the distance. Davis lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Aldave will be OK.
