The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ahr displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Simmons throws out the jab.
ahr moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
ahr dives in and grabs Simmons's left leg, looking for a takedown. Simmons pushes down on ahr's head and hops out.
ahr gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Simmons stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from ahr.
