Ghazni comes to the cage accompanied by E-type Megamix . The crowd seem to be enjoying Hardy's choice of entrance music: England Belongs To Me. Ghazni scores a takedown into full mount!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Hardy wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Ghazni working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Hardy squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Ghazni is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hardy can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Ghazni jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Hardy is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Hardy and Ghazni has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Hardy wants to get back to his feet.
Ghazni wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hardy keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hardy pushes Ghazni away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Ghazni gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Hardy is not content to let Ghazni control the position.
Ghazni has an Americana. Hardy didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Ghazni is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Ghazni hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
