Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nigel Burkshire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wish Bone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burkshire comes to the ring accompanied by It's a Fight - Three 6 Mafia. Bone is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Thuggish Ruggish Bone. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bone misses with a hook. Burkshire ducked under it nicely.
Burkshire throws a big shot that misses.
Bone lands with a cross.
Burkshire on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Bone throws an overhand right that lands on Burkshire's shoulder, as Burkshire tries to avoid the shot.
Burkshire moves in looking to clinch but Bone pushes him off.

Burkshire clinches up with Bone and pushes him back against the ropes.
Bone has had enough of the clinch but Burkshire keeps him there for the moment.

Bone looks to score with a jab to the body but Burkshire is just out of range.
Burkshire keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Bone misses the shot to the body.

Burkshire goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Burkshire takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Bone throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Burkshire misses with a looping right.
Burkshire wants to clinch up but Bone keeps it at a distance.

No luck for Bone with that takedown attempt.

Nigel Burkshire seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bone will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

The fight stays on the outside here - Burkshire looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Burkshire postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bone is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Burkshire, into his guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Burkshire is pulling down on Bone's head to control his posture.
Burkshire looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bone is one step ahead there.

Bone stands up from Burkshire's guard - Bone perhaps looking for a knockout.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Wish Bone will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bone.
Bone keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Burkshire takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Burkshire is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Bone.
Burkshire gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Burkshire tries to throw a body punch but Bone avoids it by throwing Burkshire back against the cage.

Burkshire will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bone lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Burkshire ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Bone rushes Burkshire and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Bone misses with a punch to the body.
Burkshire gets underhooks to prevent Bone's takedown attempt.
Burkshire swings wildly with an uppercut but Bone uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bone tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Burkshire smiles and moves away.

and Bone counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Burkshire wants to clinch but Bone slips to the side
and Bone counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Bone connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Burkshire on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Burkshire falls off balance throwing a combination
and Bone counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Burkshire thinking.
Bone dips to his left and cracks Burkshire with an uppercut!
Bone moves into range and connects with a jab.
Burkshire closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Burkshire shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Bone moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Burkshire trying to control but Bone is working from the bottom.
Burkshire will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Bone is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Burkshire trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Wish Bone showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

and Bone counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Bone counters with a nice uppercut.

Burkshire throws a low kick but it's checked well by Bone.

Bone throws a lazy right hand but Burkshire sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Bone counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Burkshire has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Burkshire there as he acknowledges the shot.
Bone thows a left - swing and a miss!
Burkshire looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

and Burkshire counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bone's guard now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Burkshire is stalling in the full guard.

Bone looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Burkshire won't allow Bone to get back to his feet.
Bone is trying to keep Burkshire in close.
Burkshire is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Bone is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Burkshire pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bone is keeping the position for now.
Nigel Burkshire has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bone wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Wish Bone is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Burkshire misses with a double jab
and Bone counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Wish Bone comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
