Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Jacko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frederick Kromer!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Kromer misses.
Kromer throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
A swing and a miss from Kromer.
Jacko gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Jacko uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kromer.
A punch lands to the side of Jacko 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Jacko throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jacko looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jacko shoots in for a takedown but Kromer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Jacko tries to close the distance and clinch but Kromer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Jacko counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Kromer lands a nice shot that snaps Jacko's head back.

Jacko really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jacko is defended easily by Kromer.

Jacko ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Frederick Kromer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nice defenses there by Kromer.

and Kromer counters with a nice uppercut.
Kromer takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Jacko shoots in but Kromer avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Kromer does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

No joy there for Kromer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

James Jacko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kromer is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jacko.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Jacko. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Jacko shoots in looking for a takedown. Kromer tries to sprawl out of it but Jacko keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Kromer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Jacko takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Frederick Kromer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kromer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
