Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bubba Tep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Alavez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tep's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, You're the Best Around. Alavez has chosen You Don't Know by Eminem, 50 Cent, Chashis and Lloyd Banks as his entrance music. Bubba Tep has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alavez ducks under a wild hook from Tep.
Alavez shoots in but no luck this time.
Alavez tries a head kick but it misses.
Tep fails with a takedown attempt.
Tep feints and as Alavez raises his hands in defense, Tep changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Alavez wants to stand and escape but Tep is having none of it.
Alavez looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Tep gets to his feet - Alavez follows without any prompting.
Tep swats away the attempt to clinch by Alavez.
Tep throws a series of punches but Alavez moves out of range.

so Alavez counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Tep is breathing heavily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Alavez works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Alavez grinds an elbow into Tep's temple.

Alavez is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tep is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Tep regains half guard.
Alavez lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Alavez is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Tep pushes Alavez off and gets back to his feet.
Tep throws a good cross that connects.
Tep moves into the clinch successfully.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tep ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Tep no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Tep looking for a guillotine here but Alavez defends easily.

Tep scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Tep doesn't manage to clinch there - Alavez circles away.

and Alavez counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Tep throws a right and a left that both miss.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Tep is refusing to be controlled, as Alavez sits in half guard.
Alavez is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Tep is looking to escape.
Tep wants to get back to full guard.
Alavez is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tep doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Alavez.
Alavez is working for a submission of some sort.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Tep looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jose Alavez will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Tep scores with a hook.
It looks like Jose Alavez has been cut.
Tep misses with a two punch combination.
Tep throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tep gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Tep jumps guard and drags Alavez to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Tep wants to sweep here but Alavez controlling him for the moment.
Tep lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Alavez!
Alavez tries to hold on but Tep pushes him away.
Alavez is looking to improve his position but Tep isn't that keen on the idea.
Alavez wants to control but Tep is having none of it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Tep stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Alavez throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Alavez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Tep throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Alavez on the side of the head.
Bubba Tep seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice sprawl there from Alavez as Tep shoots in.
Bubba Tep is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Tep avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Alavez shoots in for a takedown but Tep shows good takedown defense.
Tep has his takedown stuffed
and Alavez counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Alavez stands up and waves to Tep to follow him.
Tep scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tep will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Alavez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
