Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dixi Mradich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and TJ Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clark comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ice Cube - Wicked kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Clark has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clark moves out of range of the body kick from Mradich.
Mradich closes this distance looking for a takedown but Clark circles away.
Mradich is looking to land body kicks.
Clark stuffs the takedown.
Clark fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mradich sprawls well initially but Clark persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Mradich is trying to stand up here but Clark is controlling him well.

Mradich manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Clark manages to get himself to full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Dixi Mradich just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Mradich shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Clark as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dixi Mradich. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mradich changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Clark tries to avoid it but Mradich manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Clark to the ground. Clark escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Horrible takedown by Mradich or perhaps it was just good defense by Clark which made him look bad.

and Clark counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
