Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Markus Bromley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tetsuo Hamachi!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Mauricio Rocha and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamachi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Hamachi drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hamachi connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Bromley some visible discomfort.
Hamachi prevents Bromley from escaping the position.
Bromley is trying to improve his position.
Hamachi landing strikes.
Bromley avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Hamachi.
Hamachi in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.


Bromley is rocked!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bromley is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Hamachi looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Hamachi winds up and cracks Bromley with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Hamachi seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bromley does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Bromley has momentary wrist control but Hamachi slips an elbow through the middle.
Hamachi is pushing down on Bromley's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bromley is fighting to maintain full guard but Hamachi has managed to sneak the leg through.

Hamachi is keen to just control but Bromley is a slippery customer.
Hamachi thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bromley's head.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The ground and pound from Hamachi seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Hamachi is looking to take a break and control but Bromley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hamachi scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Bromley to see if he's OK.

Hamachi looks up at the clock and then as Bromley takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Hamachi smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Tetsuo Hamachi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Bromley's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Hamachi looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bromley with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Hamachi working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bromley's head.
Bromley keeping moving, preventing Hamachi from controlling successfully.
Bromley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Hamachi pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Hamachi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bromley keeps working.
Tetsuo Hamachi is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
