Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sho Stoppa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phill Pantera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phill Pantera will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stoppa misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Stoppa misses with a hook. Pantera ducked under it nicely.
Stoppa shoots for a double leg takedown but Pantera sprawls well. He's pushed Stoppa's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Stoppa tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pantera sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Stoppa somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sho Stoppa. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stoppa steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Pantera. That one must have hurt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Stoppa. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Phill Pantera showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Stoppa shoots in looking for a takedown. Pantera tries to sprawl out of it but Stoppa keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pantera manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Stoppa drops back looking for a leg! Pantera is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pantera manages to kick Stoppa off! Stoppa jumps back into Pantera's guard.

Pantera is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Stoppa asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Stoppa is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pantera is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stoppa wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Pantera, who protects the arm well.
