Akiyama comes to the cage accompanied by Time To Say Goodbye. Kippo has chosen Killing Time as his entrance music. Moses Kippo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akiyama moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Kippo has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Akiyama tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kippo was well out of range. Poor timing from Akiyama.

Akiyama changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kippo tries to avoid it but Akiyama manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kippo to the ground. Kippo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
