Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barrow tries to close the distance and clinch but Leepart swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Barrow pivots, looking for a leg kick but Leepart is out of range and Barrow settles back down.
Barrow is looking to clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Barrow looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Barrow moves into the clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Leepart is pressed up against the cage. Barrow has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Leepart down to the mat. Leepart avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Barrow uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Barrow wants to clinch up but Leepart keeps it at a distance.

Barrow changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Leepart looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Leepart is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Barrow tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Leepart throws a sloppy head kick and Barrow moves out of range easily.

Barrow tries to score a power double leg takedown but Leepart sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Barrow somewhat.
Leepart closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Leepart lands in his opponent's guard.

Leepart tries to keep at a distance but Barrow has taken the fight into the clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Barrow takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Still in the clinch, Barrow scores with a nice short uppercut.
Leepart is looking to break free of the clinch but Barrow has double underhooks.

That was a close round but I would say that Rusty Barrow will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Barrow uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Leepart.
Barrow shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Barrow tries to close the distance and clinch up but Leepart swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Horrible takedown by Barrow or perhaps it was just good defense by Leepart which made him look bad.

and Barrow counters by moving into the clinch.

Leepart tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Barrow smiles and moves away.
Leepart throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Leepart has hold of Barrow's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Barrow manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
