Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Malham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Rogalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malham comes to the cage accompanied by Amorphis - House of Sleep. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 6 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Paul Rogalski!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malham throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Malham sizes up Rogalski with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.


It looks like Paul Rogalski has been cut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Rogalski cracks Malham with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Rogalski has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Malham to stand back up!


It looks like John Malham has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Malham throws a series of punches but Rogalski moves out of range.
Malham displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rogalski throws out the jab.
Malham throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rogalski stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Rogalski makes his way to full guard, as Malham worked for a kimura.
Rogalski avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rogalski wants to stand but Malham is controlling the position.
Rogalski keeping moving, preventing Malham from controlling successfully.
Rogalski wants to get back to his feet but Malham is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Malham stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rogalski swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Malham is working hard here to advance position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rogalski can do anything to dispel that myth.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Malham gets the takedown into side control.
Malham tries to advance to mount but Rogalski instead regains half guard.
Rogalski regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Malham.

Malham drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Rogalski dives on top into guard.

Rogalski must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Rogalski looking to sit in guard and control but Malham gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Malham throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Malham advances position into side control!
Malham is trying to ground and pound but Rogalski uses the momentary lack of control by Malham to regain half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Malham stops Rogalski from getting back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Malham dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Malham lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rogalski circles away quickly and effectively.
Malham ducks under a wild hook from Rogalski.
Malham lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Rogalski throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Malham sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Rogalski stuffs the takedown attempt from Malham. Malham gets slowly back to his feet.
Rogalski looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A slow jab from Rogalski misses its intended target.
Rogalski thows a left - swing and a miss!
Rogalski on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.


That has opened up Paul Rogalski's cut even more.
The fighters circle momentarily. Rogalski darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Malham scores with a body shot.
Rogalski is breathing heavily.
Malham works the jab nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rogalski throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Malham fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Rogalski on the side of the head.
Malham fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Malham lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Malham.


The cut above Paul Rogalski's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Malham scores with a nice right hand.
Malham misses with a few strikes there.
Rogalski shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.


Paul Rogalski's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Malham lands a slapping body shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Malham throws a series of strikes that have Rogalski backpedaling.
Malham misses with a two punch combination.
Malham dodges the punch combination from Rogalski.
John Malham is winning the standup battle so far.
No joy there for Malham, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A big right from Rogalski misses.
Rogalski is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Malham.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Paul Rogalski's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:04 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). John Malham!
