Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brandi Montague (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Noel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Noel feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Noel is looking to work some ground and pound but Montague has wrist control.
Noel wants to control from the top but Montague keeps moving.

Noel thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

and Noel counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Montague is breathing heavily.
Still in half guard, Noel seems content to control.
Noel slips a nice elbow through Montague's hands, connecting with Montague's forehead.
Noel wants to pass the guard but Montague is defending well.

Noel is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Montague keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
