Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tadd McPhearson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zack The Ghost Rider!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Dean Styles and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

The Ghost Rider escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

McPhearson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
McPhearson stays in close to The Ghost Rider's body and controls the position.
McPhearson wants to control from the top but The Ghost Rider keeps moving.
McPhearson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
McPhearson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The Ghost Rider keeping moving, preventing McPhearson from controlling successfully.

That's one minute gone in the round.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Tadd McPhearson just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

McPhearson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in The Ghost Rider's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McPhearson controlling from the top position.
McPhearson is looking to work some ground and pound but The Ghost Rider has wrist control.
McPhearson stops The Ghost Rider from standing up.

McPhearson stands up from The Ghost Rider's guard - McPhearson perhaps looking for a knockout.
McPhearson throws out a leg kick but The Ghost Rider moves out of range and McPhearson only half commits.
McPhearson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
McPhearson misses with an attempted mid kick.
The Ghost Rider throws a nice outside leg kick.

The Ghost Rider gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
The Ghost Rider has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. McPhearson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

The Ghost Rider escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The Ghost Rider throws a series of punches but McPhearson moves out of range.
McPhearson tries for a takedown but The Ghost Rider sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
The Ghost Rider lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
The Ghost Rider thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on McPhearson if he has to take too many more of those.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McPhearson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

McPhearson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
McPhearson is breathing heavily.
McPhearson wants to control but The Ghost Rider is keeping him busy.
The Ghost Rider wants to stand back up but McPhearson manages to pass into side control.
McPhearson tries to move to mount but The Ghost Rider blocks the move with his legs.
The Ghost Rider tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
The Ghost Rider is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
McPhearson landing strikes from the mount and The Ghost Rider is in trouble!

McPhearson controlling the position easily from mount.
The Ghost Rider has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
The Ghost Rider has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from McPhearson.

McPhearson keeps control of the position easily here as The Ghost Rider tries to buck him off.

McPhearson is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and The Ghost Rider taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from McPhearson.
