Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madden fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Shadows moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Madden. Shadows does a little dance to reset his feet.
Danga de danga de dang - Madden scores with a four punch combination!
Madden wants to clinch up but Shadows keeps it at a distance.
Shadows lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Madden circles away quickly and effectively.
Madden throws a push kick but Shadows slaps the foot to one side.
Shadows avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Madden clinches with his opponent.
Shadows managing to block the knees to the body from Madden.
Madden tries to land a knee to the head but Shadows blocks with his arms.
Madden connects with a knee to the head.
Shadows breaks from the clinch.

Madden throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Shadows counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Madden thinking.
Madden misses with a double jab
and Shadows counters with a one-two to the body.
Madden throws a lazy head kick
letting Shadows counter with a right hand.
Madden jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Madden throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Madden misses with a combination
and Shadows counters with a single leg into guard. Madden didn't expect that.

Madden has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Shadows can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Shadows throws a big right hand that misses.
Shadows tries to free his leg and advance position but Madden is retaining full guard.
Madden looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Shadows drops back looking for a leg! Madden is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Madden manages to kick Shadows off! Shadows jumps back into Madden's guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Madden looks gassed!
Madden escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Shadows gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Shadows trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Madden is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Madden wants to sweep here but Shadows controlling him for the moment.
Shadows is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Shadows working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Shadows wants to pass the guard but Madden is keeping the position.

Madden had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Shadows defends it easily.

The fighters circling - Madden throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

enabling Shadows to counter with a crisp jab.

and Shadows counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Shadows has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Madden manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Shadows wants to pass the guard but Madden is defending well.

Madden keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Madden is looking to improve his position.
Shadows seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Madden is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
