The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Landis on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Landis throws an overhand right that lands on Mison's shoulder, as Mison tries to avoid the shot.

Mison postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Landis looks a forlorn figure.

Mison is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Landis has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Landis!
Landis seems to have recovered his senses.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Landis manages to break the clinch.
Mison stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Landis gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Mison throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Landis on the side of the head.

Landis moves forwards but Mison connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Mison uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Landis.

The fighters circle momentarily. Mison darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Mison dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Mison takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Mison, as that shot connected.

Landis gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mison to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Mison distracts Landis with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mison wants to control from the top but Landis keeps moving.
Mison seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mison accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Mison is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Mison misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Mison connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Mison lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Landis takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Mison is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Landis can do to turn this around?
Mison creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Landis with a big uppercut! Landis tries to clinch up but Mison pushes him back against the cage and lands another moster strike that crumples Landis to the mat! Landis covers up and Mison unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
