The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dante will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Vertinskaya slips under a jab.
Dante tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Vertinskaya paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Dante misses with the combination.
Dante throws a lazy right hand but Vertinskaya sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Vertinskaya tries to clinch there but Dante circles away.
Sirium Dante seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vertinskaya throws a big shot that misses.

Vertinskaya lands a left and a right that send Dante crashing to the mat, dazed. Vertinskaya thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Dante loses concentration momentarily and Vertinskaya pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Dante crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Vertinskaya finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
