The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardgrave uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Demon has time to react.
Demon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hardgrave swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Demon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Demon fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Demon fails in his attempt to clinch.
Hardgrave stalks Demon and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Demon's face. Demon staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Kacperniuski Demon has been cut.
Demon moves out of range as Hardgrave strikes.
Demon fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kacperniuski Demon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Demon moves away from the strike by Hardgrave.
Hardgrave stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hardgrave wants it to stay on the feet.

Hardgrave drops Demon with a left and a right! Oh, Demon is hurt - Hardgrave dives into side control looking to finish!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hardgrave lands a big left to the face of Demon, bouncing his head like a basketball. Another shot from Hardgrave and another - Demon is out! Hardgrave stands up and salutes his fans, who are going crazy in the stands.
