The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandez dives in and grabs Bacon's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bacon pushes down on Fernandez's head and hops out.

Fernandez tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bacon sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fernandez somewhat.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Fernandez crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bacon - the referee stops the clock and Fernandez gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bacon. Fernandez manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
