Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Scherm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wolf drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Wolf postures up in Scherm's guard and throws a big left but Scherm blocks it.

Scherm gets a clinch.

Wolf turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Wolf manages to end up in side control.

Wolf throwing strikes but Scherm manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

Wolf scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Scherm manages to mount him!
Scherm will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Scherm clinches up with Wolf and pushes him back against the cage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Scherm wants the takedown. Wolf is fighting it off but Scherm persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Wolf's guard against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Scherm shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wolf as he avoids it easily.

Scherm closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Wolf to the mat! Wolf manages to get full guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Scherm holds on and takes a little breather.

Well Wolf has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
