Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Captain Herlock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quincy Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quincy Morgan is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Quincy Morgan!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan keeps the fight on the outside.
Herlock connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Herlock slips a jab and a cross from Morgan.

Morgan has taken the fight to the clinch.
Herlock crunches a lovely knee into Morgan's ribcage.
A short body shot lands from Herlock as the two fighters clinch.
Herlock lands a damaging elbow.
Morgan wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Herlock has clasped his hands together around Morgan's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Herlock is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Morgan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Herlock swings around for an armbar but Morgan sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Herlock's guard.
Herlock avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Morgan is looking to stand up but Herlock won't let him.
Herlock keeping moving, preventing Morgan from controlling successfully.
Herlock wants to sweep but no luck.
Morgan has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Herlock is proving hard to escape from.
Morgan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Herlock had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Morgan is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Herlock Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Morgan's back instead.

Herlock is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Morgan defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Herlock is breathing heavily.

Morgan is trying to stand back up.
Herlock controlling well, preventing Morgan from escaping the position.
Herlock is trying to stick to Morgan's back but Morgan is turning into Herlock. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Herlock's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Morgan.
Herlock manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Morgan manages to get himself to full guard.
Herlock slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Herlock trying to control the action but Morgan is working from the bottom.
Morgan is pushing Herlock's head away, looking to escape. Herlock manages to hold on to the position though.

Morgan explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Herlock closes the distance looking to clinch
and Morgan counters with a series of strikes. Herlock will be more careful next time no doubt.

Herlock fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Morgan throws a good cross that connects.
Good exchange - Morgan coming out on top.
Morgan lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Herlock showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Morgan.
Herlock has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Herlock takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Herlock is rocked!
Morgan dances in with a quick combination. Herlock is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Morgan snaps Herlock's head back. Herlock stumbles backwards against the cage. Morgan steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Herlock's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Herlock just didn't come prepared.
