Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Rhl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frenky Ruud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruud has chosen this years love as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Frenky Ruud enters the cage!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dennis Rhl!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruud misses with a low kick.
Ruud tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Rhl tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rhl tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ruud paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ruud misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Ruud shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Rhl is trying to defend but Ruud finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Ruud tries to pass the half guard into mount. Rhl knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Ruud is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rhl is just riding it out for now. Ruud eventually gives up the hold.
Ruud has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Rhl works to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rhl is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ruud decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Rhl, up you get!

Ruud's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ruud does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Rhl tries to keep at a distance but Ruud has taken the fight into the clinch.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ruud lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rhl has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rhl and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Ruud has hold of Rhl's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Rhl manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Well Ruud has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
