The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alvarez moves in looking to clinch but Gently pushes him off.

Alvarez swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Gently is now in Alvarez's guard. A big mistake from Alvarez there, giving up the dominant position!
