Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marco Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Santos Jimenez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belfort throws out a leg kick but Jimenez moves out of range and Belfort only half commits.
Belfort looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Belfort rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jimenez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Oh Belfort is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Jimenez closes the distance and clinches.

Jimenez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Belfort tries to avoid it but Jimenez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Belfort to the ground. Belfort escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Marco Belfort has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Santos Jimenez.
