Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Chase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gonzo Bunga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Chase might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to All the Above - Maino. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Steven Brown and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chase tries to clinch but Bunga moves out of range.
Bunga doesn't manage to clinch there - Chase circles away.
Bunga tries to score a power double leg takedown but Chase sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bunga somewhat.

Chase has Bunga up against the cage in a clinch.

Bunga has Chase pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Bunga pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Chase tumbling to the mat - Bunga dives into Chase's guard.

Bunga drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Chase dives on top into guard.

Bunga manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Chase manages to get himself to full guard.

Bunga stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chase swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bunga postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Chase is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bunga, into his guard.

Bunga has his foot on Chase's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Chase works his way back into a safe position though.
Chase passes Bunga's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Bunga is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Chase pulls his head out easily.
Chase is looking to take a break and control but Bunga is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chase throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Chase seems to be working for a kimura but Bunga defends the submission attempt.

Chase looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Chase really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Chase is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Bunga can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Chase had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bunga defends it easily.

Bunga drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Chase manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bunga has Chase in his guard.

Bunga jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Chase is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Chase and Bunga has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Bunga wants to work for an arm triangle but Chase is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Chase catches Bunga with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Chase here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Bunga closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Bunga misses with a takedown attempt - Chase sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Bunga looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Chase is defending well. Bunga quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Chase has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Bunga celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
