Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Earl Hickey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Davenport (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hickey might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I Get Mad. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hickey takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Hickey lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Davenport misses with a body shot.
Hickey keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hickey lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Davenport circles away quickly and effectively.
Davenport fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hickey manages to avoid it.
Hickey misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
No joy there for Hickey, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A big right from Davenport misses.
Davenport takes a swing at Hickey's ribcage but misses.
Davenport fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
A decent looking cross lands there for Hickey.
Hickey doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Davenport connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hickey avoids the body shot from Davenport.
Davenport lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Hickey backs up against the cage.
Davenport thows a body shot but no joy.
Hickey falls off balance throwing a combination
and Davenport counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Hickey keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Hickey uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Davenport.
Luke Davenport is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hickey closes the distance and clinches up with Davenport, looking for a takedown. Hickey pushes Davenport against the cage but Davenport circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Hickey lands an elbow that stopped Davenport in his tracks for a moment.

Davenport pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hickey swings for the body but Davenport moves out of range.
Hickey bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Davenport scores with a jab to the jaw.
Luke Davenport seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Davenport stuffs the takedown attempt from Hickey. Hickey gets slowly back to his feet.
Hickey connects with a solid leg kick.
Hickey misses with a double jab.
Hickey throws a head kick but Davenport moves out of range.
Davenport works the jab nicely.
Davenport fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hickey manages to avoid it.
Davenport digs a good hook to Hickey's body.
Davenport lands with a shot to the body.
Hickey is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Davenport scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Davenport throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Davenport lands a left and a right that send Hickey crashing to the mat, dazed. Davenport thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Hickey is rocked!
Davenport takes a swing at Hickey's ribcage but misses.
Oh Hickey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Davenport connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Hickey! He's out on his feet! Davenport rushes in and drops Hickey with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
