Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mark Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cael Sanderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Sanderson's choice of entrance music: Dope - Debonair. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Lewis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cael Sanderson!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Lewis lunges at Sanderson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Sanderson's hand.

Lewis throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sanderson was covering up waiting for the punch and Lewis finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Lewis lands a couple of digs.
Lewis throws and elbow that misses. Sanderson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lewis's guard. Nice move by Sanderson!

Lewis is looking for a triangle but Sanderson pushes his legs off easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sanderson in particular looking to stall.
I looks like Sanderson might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Sanderson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Sanderson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lewis does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Lewis drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Lewis goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Sanderson rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Lewis's guard! Nice work there by Sanderson!

Lewis escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sanderson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Sanderson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Sanderson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Sanderson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Lewis can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
