Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan ORourke!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vargas misses the shot to the body.
The fighters circling - Vargas throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
ORourke throws a head kick that misses.
Vargas misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Vargas has a takedown stuffed.
Vargas avoids a kick to the body.
Vargas throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Vargas avoids a punch combination nicely.
ORourke tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Vargas paws at him with a jab and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
ORourke will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Vargas lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Vargas misses with a combination
and ORourke counters by clinching up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vargas jumps guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Vargas is on top in guard.
ORourke wants to reverse the position here. Vargas has hold of a leg though and he's dropped back looking for a kneebar! The fighters roll across the mat but ORourke is forced to tap! ORourke looks devastated but at least his leg points in the right direction.
