Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Leopold Raskalnikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kitsune Tsuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Leopold Raskalnikov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kitsune Tsuki!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Illya Tyunina and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raskalnikov throws a nice outside leg kick.
Raskalnikov is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tsuki sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Raskalnikov darts in and clinches Tsuki up against the cage.
Raskalnikov tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Raskalnikov lands an elbow inside that Tsuki shrugs off.
Tsuki tries to circle away but Raskalnikov has him pinned against the cage.
Raskalnikov using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Tsuki has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Raskalnikov misses with an elbow strike.
Raskalnikov lands an elbow inside.
Raskalnikov gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Raskalnikov lands an elbow inside that Tsuki shrugs off.
Tsuki is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Raskalnikov ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Raskalnikov no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Raskalnikov can't keep his opponent in guard - Tsuki advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Tsuki is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Tsuki is looking to take a break and control but Raskalnikov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Tsuki is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Raskalnikov to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tsuki accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Raskalnikov is trying to control the position but Tsuki postures up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Raskalnikov really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

and Raskalnikov counters with a nice low kick that buckles Tsuki's knee momentarily.

Tsuki doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Raskalnikov counters with a solid body kick.

Tsuki takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Tsuki takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Raskalnikov.
Tsuki has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Raskalnikov.

and Raskalnikov counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Tsuki is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Tsuki stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Raskalnikov.

Nice takedown defense from Raskalnikov. No joy for Tsuki on that attempt.

Raskalnikov scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Tsuki doesn't seem bothered though.
Tsuki's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Tsuki sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Leopold Raskalnikov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tsuki drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Raskalnikov gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Raskalnikov lands an elbow that stopped Tsuki in his tracks for a moment.

Raskalnikov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Tsuki stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tsuki wants it to stay on the feet.
Raskalnikov is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tsuki can do to turn this around?
Tsuki tries for a takedown but Raskalnikov sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Tsuki is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Tsuki working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Raskalnikov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Raskalnikov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Tsuki isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Raskalnikov stacks Tsuki on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Raskalnikov!

Raskalnikov decides to stand back up. Raskalnikov steps back and let's Tsuki get back to his feet.
Tsuki shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Raskalnikov is looking to wear down Tsuki with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Raskalnikov buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Tsuki takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

and Raskalnikov makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Raskalnikov feints and as Tsuki raises his hands in defense, Raskalnikov changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

That's time! Raskalnikov's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tsuki is defended easily by Raskalnikov.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Tsuki crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Raskalnikov - the referee stops the clock and Tsuki gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Raskalnikov. Tsuki manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Raskalnikov is pressed up against the cage. Tsuki has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Raskalnikov down to the mat. Raskalnikov avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Raskalnikov.
Nice body kick there by Raskalnikov.
Tsuki is trying desperately to land a takedown but Raskalnikov is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Tsuki.

Raskalnikov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Raskalnikov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tsuki swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Crunch! Raskalnikov slams his shin into Tsuki's torso.

Tsuki swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Raskalnikov closes the distance and pushes Tsuki back into the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Tsuki's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Raskalnikov gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Raskalnikov obliges.
Kitsune Tsuki has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Tsuki tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Raskalnikov is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Tsuki changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Raskalnikov fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Raskalnikov fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tsuki looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

And that's the end of the fight!
Leopold Raskalnikov showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Raskalnikov has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
