The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bishop drops Makoto with a beautiful combination! Makoto stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Bishop is looking for the KO!

Makoto is rocked!

Bishop cracks Makoto with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Bishop has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Makoto to stand back up!
Makoto is still on wobbly legs! Can Bishop finish him?

Makoto drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Makoto seems to have recovered his senses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Makoto passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Bishop!

You get the feeling that Bishop really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Makoto is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Bishop has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Makoto looks gassed!

Bishop has left one of his arms exposed and Makoto doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Bishop screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
