Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Paulo Santos and Edson Gomes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries to clinch but basquisk moves out of range.

Silva tries to keep at a distance but basquisk has taken the fight into the clinch.
basquisk goes for a takedown attempt but Silva pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
basquisk throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Silva's waist but Silva gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing basquisk off to one side.
basquisk tries to close the distance and clinch but Silva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

basquisk throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Silva was covering up waiting for the punch and basquisk finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Silva looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Silva wants to hit a switch here but basquisk passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Silva there!
Silva tries to hold on but basquisk pushes him away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
basquisk is trying to control the action in half guard but Silva is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Silva is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of basquisk's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take basquisk's back!
basquisk controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.

basquisk won't enjoy being in this position. Silva looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - basquisk is tapping - it's over boys! Silva picks up the submission victory!
