And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andrews throws a half hearted mid kick.
Andrews doesn't manage to clinch there - Volkov circles away.
Andrews showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Volkov.

Volkov looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Andrews wants to sweep here but Volkov controlling him for the moment.
Volkov throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Volkov keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Andrews's head.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Andrews can do anything to dispel that myth.
Volkov landing with the ground and pound.
Andrews is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Volkov postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Andrews wants to stand but Volkov is controlling the position.
Andrews looks gassed!

Volkov chips away with some ground and pound.
Volkov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Volkov drops back looking for a leg! Andrews is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Andrews manages to kick Volkov off! Volkov jumps back into Andrews's guard.
Andrews is trying to control the position but Volkov postures up.
Volkov is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Volkov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Volkov trying to control but Andrews is working from the bottom.
Volkov passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Andrews takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Volkov has hold of Andrews's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Andrews tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Volkov cranks the arm and Andrews screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Andrews, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
