Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dan Vespa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Castle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Frank Castle!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vespa gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Vespa looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Vespa.
Castle swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Vespa.
Castle lands a glancing blow to the side of Vespa's head.
A shot to the liver by Castle. Beautiful body shot.
Castle thumps Vespa with a low kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Vespa on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Castle jabs at Vespa's body.
Castle scores with a jab. Vespa acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Castle lands an overhand right.
Castle connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Vespa's hands.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Castle, as that shot connected.


Vespa is rocked!
Vespa doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Castle tries to work over Vespa's front leg with a kick but Vespa checks it.
Vespa on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Castle connects with a body shot.
Castle lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Oh Vespa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Castle scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Castle misses the shot to the body.
Vespa seems to have got his legs back now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Decent striking displayed by Castle there.
Castle connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Vespa momentarily.
Vespa moves forwards but Castle connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Castle buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Castle is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Vespa had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Castle bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Vespa's head.
A punch combination from Castle misses.
Vespa on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Castle cracks Vespa with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Vespa looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Castle finish him?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Castle ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Castle misses with a jab, cross combination.
Castle pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Vespa stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Castle.
Vespa takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Castle lands with a good body shot.
Castle scores with a decent looking hook.
Castle lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Castle fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Vespa looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Vespa takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Castle swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Vespa.
Vespa takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Frank Castle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Castle is looking to slow Vespa down with leg kicks.
Castle with a nice cross.
Castle throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Nice shot by Castle.
Vespa tries to move into range but Castle moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Vespa closes the distance and clinches up with Castle, looking for a takedown. Vespa pushes Castle against the cage but Castle circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A good leg kick by Castle.
Castle scores with a body shot.
Castle with a nice cross.
Castle thuds his right hand into Vespa's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Vespa takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Castle lands a left and a right that send Vespa crashing to the mat, dazed. Castle thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Today's fight clock is brought to you by... OOOH that's a huge shot by Castle! Vespa is in big trouble here - the ref steps in to save him and this one is all over!
