Martins jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… nicolausson is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by nicolausson and Martins has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Martins jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but nicolausson manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Martins blocks the strikes from nicolausson.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
nicolausson gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Martins has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Martins wants to free his trapped foot but nicolausson is holding on for dear life with his legs.
