The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Hunt with that takedown attempt.
Pogrieshi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hunt but Hunt pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Hunt looks to land a combination but Pogrieshi avoids it well.
Mike Hunt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hunt is looking to clinch but Pogrieshi is avoiding it.
Hunt misses with a takedown attempt - Pogrieshi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Pogrieshi looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jab, jab by Hunt - just one landing.

Hunt shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pogrieshi as he avoids it easily.

Hunt gets the takedown into side control.
Pogrieshi is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Hunt asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hunt is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Pogrieshi has escaped the position, nice work there.
Pogrieshi pushes Hunt away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hunt gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Pogrieshi is looking to improve his position but Hunt isn't that keen on the idea.

Hunt is working for a guillotine from mount but Pogrieshi frees his head quite easily.
