The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loppi bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Hope stuns Loppi with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Loppi misses with a takedown attempt - Hope sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Loppi shoots in for a takedown but Hope shows good takedown defense.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Loppi is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Hope is looking to stand up but Loppi won't let him.

Loppi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hope gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Hope tries to stand but Loppi is controlling from the bottom.

Loppi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hope doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hope manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Hope would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Loppi isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hope stacks Loppi on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hope!

Hope fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Loppi manages to avoid it.
Hope displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Loppi.

Hope lands a big right hand that sends Loppi crashing to the mat! Hope stays standing though and waves Loppi back to his feet!
Oh Loppi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hope shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Loppi takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Hope sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Loppi bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
