The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas misses with the combination.
Thomas tries to clinch up.
Thomas tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gronholm paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gronholm rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Thomas moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gronholm slips a straight right by Thomas.
Thomas swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Gronholm counters with a two punch combo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gronholm throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Thomas.
Thomas should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

and Gronholm counters with a left right combination that sends Thomas crashing to the mat - Gronholm wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Thomas out for a TKO! Devastating finish!
