Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wanderlei Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Davis Marcus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcus is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by "Princes of the Universe," by Queen. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Marcus feints and then cracks Silva's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Silva down.

Silva is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Marcus is just riding it out for now. Silva eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Silva has hold of Marcus's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Marcus tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Silva cranks the arm and Marcus screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Marcus, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
