Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gabino Barrera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Vlay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vlay shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Barrera pinned against the cage. Barrera gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Vlay closes this distance looking for a takedown but Barrera circles away.

Vlay has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Barrera can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Vlay fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Barrera.

Vlay drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Vlay as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Barrera screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Vlay! Nice submission victory there!
